English: Michael Lane McDonald is a Seattle-based realist painter. He was trained at the Fleisher Art Memorial, The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and University of Pennsylvania, and also privately in the home studio of Nelson Shanks. He taught at Moore College of Art and Design, Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, Gage Academy of Art, Juliette Aristides Classical Atelier and DigiPen Institute of Technology. He founded the Seattle Atelier, a school for perceptual painting.

Michael Lane invited by Israel Hershberg to teach at the JSS In Civita Catellana 2018

Michael Lane has been invited by Israel Hershberg for another year (third in a row) to teach at the JSS in Civita Castellana. 
The title of the Affiliate Course is "Corot, Tonalism and the Roman Campagna"
